Arco Duo Biography

Formed in 2005, Arco Duo was born out of the dissidence of the progressive-influenced group, Arcomancia. Arco Duo included Daniel Godesh on guitar and vocals, and Fábio Pin on drums and vocals. Formerly of Arcomancia, Daniel played acoustic steel guitars and Fábio Pin fended for himself with an instrument he called a Keyboardrum. This was made up with parts of drums and keyboards however other instruments such as, saxophone, flute and trombone were also used by the various line ups.

Daniel and Fabio, as Arco Duo, wrote and arranged a new repertoire full of sci-fi themes, based on their more direct influences, David Bowie, The Who, Pink Floyd and the Brazilian Secos & Molhados, and Rita Lee of Mutantes fame.
