Jon Anderson Biography

Jon Anderson began his career with British pop combo, The Warriors. From here he was briefly a solo artist and went under the name, Hans Christian Anderson. Shortly after meeting Chris Squire in 1968, he formed Yes. Although Jon left Yes for a short period in the early eighties to resume a solo career, he is best known as the front man for this legendary progressive rock band. Jon has also worked extensively with other musicians over the years and has enjoyed commercial success with artists such as Vangelis and Kitaro.

Yes has a seemingly irresistible pull for Jon but he is also hugely prolific and records many solo albums collaborating with numerous artists. Although currently not in the Yes line up, he is still very active as a solo artist
